If you are interested in ministering to those struggling with sexual brokeness, we can offer professional, biblically based training. Trainings generally last from 1/2 day to a full day, depending on the size of your staff and the depth to which you desire to minister to this population. These trainings are specifically oriented to church and para-church organizations. Topics can be customized to meet your organizational goals but often include the following:
- Biblical overview of sexuality
- Biblical overview of homosexuality
- Frequent causes of sexual brokeness
- Psycho-social development of same sex attration and gender identity confusion
- Recent history regarding the church's response to sexual issues
- A contemporary vision of the church's response to sexual issues
- Specific ways that church and para-church staff can minister to this population
- Mentoring, support groups, sponsors
- Scope of practice
When making a request for a training, we ask for about a 3 to 4 week lead time in order to keep our schedule organized and to provide ample time to make all necessary arrangements.
